Winter Workwear!
It’s the start of a New Year and what better time to look at the workwear your staff require to get them through the remainder of winter and into spring. With winter we have lower temperatures with more rain and wind so your staff will be in need of clothing that will suit the prevailing conditions. Here are a couple of things you might what to consider.
With less daylight hours for the next few months you do need to make sure that high visibility workwear is used, but with lower temperatures you might want to consider garments that incorporate a fleece lining so that your workforce benefit from an additional layer of warmth while staying safe.
Fleeces and Gilets/Body Warmers: Designed to help keep the wearer warm these can easily be incorporated into a work uniform or dress code. Why not call our logo department and add your company branding or logo.
Trousers: Durable and hardwearing trousers will provide protection from the cold and dirt, especially if lined. Here at Brookes UK we have an extensive range to choose from.
Waterproofs: Whether its jackets, trousers or any waterproof item, staying dry is a must especially in cold weather so it is important to pick the right garment.
Baselayers / Thermals: An ideal option for the winter months to keep employees warm, after all it works for hiking and other outdoor pursuits, so is ideal for those working outdoors too and I know this one from personal experience.
Gloves: A great addition to any equipment or clothing you provide for your employees, and the hands are probably one of the most vulnerable areas to suffer from the cold, and the choice available means that there is something suitable for any work environment.
Headwear: The other most vulnerable area to suffer in the winter, so the provision of these as part of the workwear ensemble is a great idea for employers. We have a great range from hats and caps to helmets to suit all.
Footwear: Another priority for the winter, when underfoot conditions can be dangerous you need appropriate quality footwear suitable for the working environment.
While this isn’t a comprehensive list by any means it should at least give you some food for thought. So make sure you take a look at the extensive range available on the Brookes UK website, with top quality products from the leading brands in the world and at the most competitive prices around.
